Welcome to the first Güssing Sports Days. The Heeressportverein Güssing invites you – together with the Güssing sports clubs – to this event.
The Güssing Sports Days will take place at the same time as the 56th Austrian Parachuting Championships from May 26th to May 28th, 2023. We offer numerous sporting activities for young and old alike. In addition to the Heeressportverein, the GSV, GSV Volley, Tennisclub Güssing, Schiclub Güssing, and the Blackbirds are also participating. All clubs offer competitions or activities in their sport – so there is something for every sports enthusiast. On these days, free entry applies throughout the sports ground and the Güssing outdoor pool.

From 2:00 pm: Training jumps 56th Austrian Parachuting Championships
The athletes’ arrival takes place throughout the day.
Depending on availability, tandem jumps over Güssing are possible during the training. You can find out how to register here.
7:00 pm: Skydiver Party at “THE BAR”
THE BAR Güssing would like to invite you to a Skydiver Party as a WARM UP for the weekend.

The award ceremony of the 56th Austrian Parachuting Championships will take place, depending on weather conditions, earlier or later, with a target of approximately 4:00 pm.
In the event of extreme bad weather, May 29th, 23, will be an alternative date.
8:00 pm: Aftershow party at Güssing tent festival
As in the previous year, our climbing section will present itself with a “beer crate climbing competition”.
No matter how old you are, everyone can prove their skills and maybe become the next strong climber.
The Güssing sports club will represent itself on Saturday with a junior tournament and on Sunday with a fun tournament.

U7 starts around 9:30 am U8 starts around 12:00 pm U10 starts around 2:00 pm

The Güssing Tennis Club will be hosting a serve speed measurement event on Saturday and Sunday for both young and old.
For the player with the fastest serve, the sky is the limit.

Even though it’s summer, our Güssing Ski Club will still be representing.
Since there is no snow in the summer, there will be a grass ski challenge.
This will definitely be a fun event for all ages.

Not only will our skydivers be flying again this weekend, but our Blackbirds will too.
A small court tournament at the Güssing outdoor pool parking lot will attract a few basketball fans.
You may even become a new basketball fan and show off your skills.

What would a summer sports festival be without a beach volleyball tournament?
Our GSV Volleys will be hosting a beach volleyball tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
You have the opportunity to win the daily championship on both days.
